The Storm Water Management Advisory Board (SWMAB) is an advisory board for the City of San Antonio that was established on Jan. 26, 2023, and was created for the following purposes:
The Board (SWMAB) meets at least on a quarterly basis.

- Monitor and track the progress and successful completion of drainage projects including the City’s Drainage and Flood Management Bond Proposition;
- Serve as communication ambassadors to review and advise City Council and City staff on how to improve outreach efforts to residents and businesses affected by construction and other communication initiatives related to drainage and storm water projects as needed;
- Lead the community process with the assistance of watershed working groups and staff to define and prioritize projects for their respective watersheds and districts not already defined within the Bond brochure; and
- Ensure a transparent process in prioritizing future City storm water and drainage investments.
The Board (SWMAB) meets at least on a quarterly basis.
