What you need to know
• Construction is underway on improvements to Beacon Hill Park, funded by the 2022–2027 Bond Program.
• Project features include a new dog park with amenities, walkway improvements, a new pavilion, and upgraded park furnishings.
Closure
• A segment of W. Lynwood Ave. (adjacent to Beacon Hill Park) will be closed to all through traffic from Monday, October 13 through end of day Wednesday, October 15. The road will remain open to emergency vehicles.
• The temporary road closure is needed for crews to install drinking fountains at the new dog park.
• Work includes connecting to the SAWS main line and installing a new water meter for the dog park.
